Transforming Lives: A Fundraiser for ACG Juvenile Justice ServicesThursday, November 13, 6-9pm
The Trowbridge Home
Donations encouraged
Join us for an unforgettable evening of dinner and music in the breathtaking home of Russ and Janey Trowbridge, nestled off City Park Road with sweeping views of the 360 Bridge—all in support of ACG Juvenile Justice Services.
Our work in the juvenile justice system began in 2010 at Travis County’s Gardner Betts facility. What started as a pilot quickly blossomed into something extraordinary: moments of trust, joy, and deep learning together through music. In time, our classes were added to the curriculum and became Texas’s first and only daily, for-credit performing arts course for incarcerated youth. We’ve been making deep connections and musical magic with young people at Gardner Betts every school day ever since. That’s thousands of hours of ACG’s education staff providing rigorous, totally unique, musical training for some of our community’s most vulnerable and most neglected young individuals.
Today, our work continues daily at Gardner Betts and has expanded to serve youth at the Williamson County Juvenile Services Center (2017), Phoenix House (2018-2023), Dallas County’s Henry Wade and Medlock Centers (2019), and the Travis County JJAEP (2022).
This year, we will invest over $150,000 in our Juvenile Justice Services, and we need your help. This evening is a fundraiser. We invite you to make a gift when you RSVP below or bring your support with you that night.
We can’t wait to dream and celebrate with you in this magical setting.
