About this Event

Join the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law and the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) for an in-person co-hosted panel discussion exploring the future of Australia’s Human Rights Framework. The panel will explore possible outcomes from the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights’ Report into its Inquiry into Australia’s Human Rights Framework (which is reporting by 31 March 2024) as well as the AHRC’s Free and Equal Final Report, , released in December 2023.

The panel will be made up of Emeritus Professor Rosalind Croucher AM, President of the Australian Human Rights Commission, Associate Professor Julie Debeljak, Academic Member of the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law and Caitlin Reiger, CEO of the Human Rights Law Centre.
