About this Event

June 27-28, 2025, NAME (The National Association for Multicultural Education) Region 1 (including members from New England, New York, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico) will be hosting a conference at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA. Our conference theme is Transformative Equity: Action Over Optics. Friday's focus will be to educate and illuminate regarding Transformative Equity. Saturday morning will be a hands-on, minds-on General Session in which attendees will be led through the process of creating action plans for their respective sectors and organizations.
