About this Event

The first installment of Friends Select's new Transformation Campaign speaker series is “Building for the Future: How to Create Lasting Equitable and Accessible Learning Spaces.” This panel focuses on how we can build educational spaces that are more accessible—in every way. Our panelists are:

  • James Bradberry, Principal, James Bradberry Architects
  • Helen Gym, Philadelphia City Councilmember at-large
  • Nasheli J Ortiz González, Executive Director, Taller Puertorriqueño
  • Kelly Richards, President and Director, Free Library of Philadelphia

The panel will be moderated by Margaret Smith, Friends Select’s director of city curriculum, along with upper school student Noah Hall-King ‘24.

All are invited to join us in person in our Blauvelt Theatre, or virtually, for this great educational event. Light refreshments will be served.
