Maroje's journey began when he encountered the presence of the Holy Spirit at the age of 14. This encounter marked a turning point in his life, transforming him from a mere recipient of sacraments to someone who spent hours in prayer and committed to a Catholic way of life. In his early 20’s, Maroje experienced a second profound encounter with the Spirit, facilitated by young students who prayed for him, that would shape his life until the present day. This event served as his second spiritual awakening, during which God unveiled the realization of his aspirations. This revelation involved a community of young individuals pursuing a deeper relationship with the Divine and leading others to Him. This path led Maroje to the Catholic charismatic prayer community known as "Božja pobjeda" or "God's Victory."This year marks the 10th anniversary of that transformative moment. Since then, Maroje has lived out his calling to serve God through community, fostering deeper connections with fellow members. He embraced the responsibility of loving those brought into his life through the community, engaging in evangelization efforts, and shaping the formation of young people both in Croatia and abroad. The community, which initially consisted of six friends gathering for shared prayer and worship in 2007, has now become an integral part of parish life. They actively participate in various parish groups, conduct weekly public prayer gatherings attended by approximately 800 individuals, undertake evangelization missions in different locations, establish new prayer communities, and lead a comprehensive three-year youth formation program encompassing identity, prayer, worship, charisms, and evangelization. Their efforts also extend to hosting large praise and worship gatherings attended by thousands, and their official YouTube channel boasts over 36 million views.
