The next chapter of the Czech–Serbian collaboration unfolds in Belgrade. At Ostavinska Gallery, artists Ana Aleksić (RS) and Lukáš Kalivoda (CZ) present a new site-specific installation that builds on their work first shown in Tábor. Developed during the recent symposium, the project explores space, material, and processes of transformation in contemporary art, continuing an exchange that connects two cultural contexts and sparks reflection across media and borders.

Ana Aleksić explores the fluid and liminal nature of space through interventions that merge diverse techniques, media, and an experimental approach. By working with found objects and personal archives, she maps inner and outer landscapes as mirrors of one another, creating spaces of constant transformation and reconfiguration.
Lukáš Kalivoda, on the other hand, focuses on the material itself, uncovering its hidden qualities and potentials through experiments and original techniques. Together, they create a dialogue in which their approaches intersect as well as contrast, opening space for new readings of contemporary art.

Founded in 2016, Transforma Festival focuses on connecting the local cultural scene with both Czech and international communities. Our aim is to create original exhibitions and carefully curate the music program in order to offer visitors diverse and inspiring experiences. Rather than prioritizing well-known headliners, we seek organic collaborations with remarkable artists and collectives. Our main base, Cesta in Tábor, is an old mill with a rich tradition of alternative culture.
From the very beginning, the festival has included an exhibition section, which later led to the establishment of the Transforma.exp platform. We collaborate with local galleries and activate unused urban spaces, pushing the exhibition concept each year towards new and meaningful projects.
