All bodies alteration skills for trans, femmes, and thems!
Bring a project and machine (if you have one--limited machines provided, including a serger and coverhem). We'll begin with a brief sewing machine tutorial for beginners. We'll talk about how to shop for your body (including when to say no), and cover basic techniques to make that fit FIT.
Some machines, threads, needles, notions, and tools provided. Please bring a small kit if you have it or prefer your tools.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS
Your hosts are Gene Anderson (they/he) & Jenn Gooch (she/her). Gene is an enthusiastic, self-taught sewing, mending, and quilting novice. Jenn Gooch is a life-long textile artist, an all-ages sewing instructor for more than a decade, and a pro-stitcher (including tailoring for film).
