Join us on Trans Day of Remembrance as we recognize & honor the lives of Transgender & Gender NonConforming people who have passed on. We will do a Name Reading and Candlelight Vigil with an opportunity for anyone to share thoughts, stories, or words of choice. 🩷🤍🩵After the ceremony, we'll screen the short film series "American Problems, Trans Solutions" by Imara Jones & TransLash Media, which explores the efforts of 3 Black Trans people addressing housing insecurity, immigration, and economic instability, and discuss how we can address the issues contributing to the loss of our Transgender & Gender NonConforming community members.
All ages welcome. Free to attend, with refreshments available. Allies are encouraged to bring shelf stable food items to stock our new Community Fridge & Pantry.
