Aloha trans and nonbinary folks! Join us for a special hiking collab!
This hike is centered on creating space for our trans and nonbinary community to connect and enjoy the outdoors together. If you’re cis, we kindly ask that you hang back this time—unless you’re joining with your trans or nonbinary partner, or accompanying a solo trans/nonbinary hiker as their companion. This helps keep the space focused and supportive for those who need it most.
We’re heading up Wa‘ahila Ridge—a cool hike, literally and figuratively! With good friends and new friends. Wa‘ahila means wa‘a (canoe) and hila (shy), so if you’re a shy canoe, know that most of us are—and we’re all in the same boat together.
After the hike Kalani, one of the two leaders, will be hosting a post-hike hangout with grub and beers (location TBD, but pupus will be provided). More details soon!
In the meantime, sign up and drop a comment if you need a carpool or can offer a ride.
See you on the trail! But don’t trail behind at home—if you’re on the edge, get on a ridge instead. ⛰️
Please consider joining a carpool, listed below.
