If you have ever had questions about what it means to be transgender or non-binary, this is an amazing opportunity to have them answered in a safe and supportive discussion! At this event, church member Celeste will present a broad overview of what it means to be transgender, what it's like, and most importantly: how you can support your trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming siblings. You'll learn about the process of social, legal, and medical transition, and how different trans people approach transition differently. You'll learn about both the immense challenges facing the trans community and the joy trans people experience when being themselves. Join Celeste for "Trans 101" this Sunday at 11:15 am in the Louise Roberts Room. Refreshments will be served.
