Join the best-of-the-best from 2025 as they compete against one another for the title of Grand Storytelling Champion of 2025 at the BIG SHOWDOWN. This is the first year we will be welcoming our winning storytellers from Binghamton, and we're so excited to bring both communities together!

Liquid State offers a delicious selection of beers, ciders, wine, local spirits, CBD seltzers, NA beverages, as well as housing a magic portal from which to order Franco's pizza.
INFO FOR QUALIFYING STORYTELLERS:
The theme will be announced on Thursday, November 13th at the last Trampoline event at The Downstairs and posted online the following day.
SHOW UP: Please arrive no later than 6:45pm to sign in.
RULES: Same rules and structure as regular events will apply (5 "stage" minutes, no notes, timer)
JUDGING: We will have a panel of local celebrity guest judges to score stories on Content & Presentation

Justin Willman is a magician, comedian, and television personality. He is the creator and star of "Magic for Humans" and "The Magic Prank Show" on Netflix. He has made regular appearances on The Tonight Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Conan.
2nd & 3rd Place: BSB Gift Certificate and a tote bag filled with swag from WSKG and Buffalo Street Books.

TIPS FOR OUR OUT OF TOWN GUESTS:
PARKING:
There is a limited amount of parking spaces in the lots at the venue on both the Green Street and West State Street sides of the building. There is plenty street parking in the neighborhood, though you might have to circle around a bit.
FOOD:
If you're dietarily restricted from eating Franco's Pizza (like Mickie) plan on an early arrival and stop in for a sit-down meal before the event just across State Street at Saigon Kitchen (lots of GF and vegan options). They're delicious, quick, and friendly.
