We hereby invite our family, friends and friends of friends to our Soft Launch Event on Saturday the 15th of March!
This will be a night to remember. A relatively intimate event of up to 100 people to help us set the tone for the magic and joyful community spirit which will unfold over the next years. We have an incredible line-up* of djs, bands, poetry, freestyle, magic and workshops rolling from 7pm until 4am! This is a BYO, private event.
This will be a ticketed event to help support the opening of our venue to the public. In buying a ticket, you won’t just receive entry to sweet event in an awe-inspiring venue, you'll also get a Trainscendence Membership. This will mean you're part of the club! And can buy credits for future Trainscendence offerings.

🚂 --> Our vision of the venue:
With decades of experience in hospitality and hosting/running events across different industries, we decided to team up and create the very thing that we were both looking for in a venue. Somewhere creative, curious and cosy-community-like in which we could co-work, be inspired, be surrounded by likeminded people, unwind, wind-up, collaborate, create and host amazing events.

Each floor of Trainscendence has its own vehicle themed personality:
🚉 Platform Infinity (Ground Floor) – A café & art space by day, a live music venue by night. Espresso meets electric guitars.
🚌 The Magic School Bus (1st Floor) – A cosy classroom/workshop/library space. Expand your mind.
🍿 Inflight Entertainment (2nd Floor) – A cinema room with couches, cushions, and popcorn. Host screenings, presentations, or escape reality in VR.
🚲The Bio-Cycle (3rd Floor) – Infrared sauna, ice bath, and a smoothie bike. Also a co-working space with v high-speed WiFi.
🎶🚂 Trainscendental Lounge (4th Floor) – The crown jewel. A retired Hitachi train carriage, turned into a 1970s-style lounge & performance space, complete with a rooftop patio. Is this real life?

🛠️ Trainscendence is a members-only venue, buying a ticket to this event includes a free membership to Trainscendence. / Trainscendence is accessed via an alley with uneven cobblestones, but has a lift which goes to every floor except the rooftop terrace and two large accessibility bathrooms. Thus, if folks who use a wheelchair navigate the laneway, the venue itself should be mostly accessible. / The place we now call 'Collingwood' is said to have been once known as Yálla-birr-ang by Wurundjeri. We pay respects to first nations. It is an honour and privilege to live and create on this unceded Aboriginal land, which knows tens of thousands of years of culture, storytelling and gatherings. As a nation, may we confront the full reality of our history as a part of moving forwards harmoniously. / Trainscendence feel it should go without saying that we do not tolerate bullying, racism, sexism, ableism or gender or sexuality-based harassment <3 /
