Job Instruction: Monday, May 22 through Friday, May 26 | 8:00 - 10:00 am
The TWI Job Instruction 10-hour course teaches the method to instruct an operator how to quickly remember to perform a job correctly, safely and conscientiously. It requires you identify the “one best way,” and teach the process to this one way, thereby creating a standard method. By utilizing Job Instruction, you gain the benefits of consistent training and also develop a stable process upon which to apply continuous improvement. Benefits experienced when practicing the Job Instruction program are reduced training time, less rework, fewer accidents, and increased job satisfaction.
Job Relations: Monday, June 5 through Friday, June 9 | 8:00 - 10:00 am
The TWI Job Relations 10-hour course teaches supervisors how to handle problems, how to prevent them from occurring, and most importantly, it aids in developing a logical, common sense approach to handling issues with a people-centric view. Job Relations teaches the foundations of positive employee relations which supports developing and maintaining motivation and cooperation from others. When problems do arise, Job Relations teaches a proven method of getting the facts, weighing and deciding on options, taking action, and checking results. Benefits experienced from practicing Job Relations include increased productivity, improved attendance, better morale, and higher employee retention rates.
Job Methods Improvement: Monday, July 24 through Friday, July 28 | 8:00 - 10:00 am
The TWI Job Methods 10-hour course trains your people to produce greater quantities of quality products in less time by making the best use of the people, machines, and materials currently available. Participants are taught how to break down jobs into their constituent operations, to question these details in a systematic manner, and to generate ideas for improvement. New methods are developed by eliminating, combining, rearranging, and simplifying these details in the process. Benefits experienced when practicing Job Methods include reduced cost through productivity gains, increased throughput, Job improved safety, and reduced work in process.
