Presenters:
Eric Storch, Ph.D. is Professor and McIngvale Presidential Endowed Chair in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). He serves as Vice Chair and Head of Psychology, and co-directs the Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders program at BCM. Dr. Storch specializes in the nature and treatment of childhood and adult obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and anxiety among youth with autism. In addition to over 850 published articles and chapters and 24 books, he has received multiple federal grants to investigate treatment efficacy, mechanisms of action, genetics, bioethics, innovative approaches to phenotyping, and how to enhance outcomes for those struggling with OCD and related conditions.
Marni L. Jacob, PhD, ABPP is a Licensed Psychologist and Clinical Director of the Jacob Center for Evidence- Based Treatment, where she specializes in the treatment of youth and adults with OCD, O-C Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Phobias. Dr. Jacob has published over 45 scientific journal articles, written several book chapters, and engaged in numerous presentations on OCD, Anxiety, and Related Disorders. She is Board Certified in Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology and President of OCD Central & South Florida, an IOCDF affiliate. Dr. Jacob is also a faculty member of the IOCDF's Pediatric Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI).
Golfo Liamaki, Ph.D. is an experienced Clinical Psychologist knowned for her specialization in the psychological treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) across all age groups. She is a highly trained advanced schema therapist and cognitive behavior therapist, and she is a professional member of the International OCD Foundation. In addition to her clinical and literary achievements, Dr. Liamaki is a passionate OCD awareness advocate in Greece. She spearheads the establishment of the first Hellenic OCD Foundation, aiming to create a robust community of OCD sufferers and specialists dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of OCD. Her leadership and dedication are instrumental in fostering a supportive and informed environment for those affected by OCD.
