Join us for Train for a Hero, a community-wide movement event dedicated to honoring the everyday heroes among us: firefighters, police officers, military members, and all who serve to protect and strengthen our community.
This event focuses on purposeful, positive movement, including walking, jogging, or running to symbolize our respect, gratitude, and unity. It's not a race. It’s a way to give thanks.
We are proudly fundraising for our local Police, Fire, and Parks departments to help raise awareness about the importance of healthy movement and community wellness.
Bring the whole family! There will be:
- Touch-a-Truck Experience with police, fire, and city vehicles
- Police and Fire K9 Demonstrations
- Food Trucks & Ice Cream Treats
- Music and Community Fun
