About this Event
We'll be cleaning up and repairing rock steps and a footbridge along a section of the Cross Fells Trail a short ten-minute hike from the kiosk at the Flynn Rink. Please dress warmly, wear sturdy shoes, bring a waterbottle and either a pick or shovel if you have one. We'll supply additional tools. Heavy snow on the ground or very cold temps (25 or below) might transform this work day into a 2-3 mile hike nearby, depending on conditions
Please note that the parking lot at Flynn Rink can fill up quickly. Additional parking is available at the small lot near Quarter Mile Pond or along the street south of the Rotary on Fulton Road. Meet at the Kiosk in the Flynn Rink Parking Lot. (You can also find parking at the old hospital site further down Woodland Rd, but its a 15 minute walk to the meeting point.)
