Are you a runner? Or do you suck at running, hate it, but for some reason you still want to run? Perhaps you have no idea what you are doing but you THINK you want to run? Cool. It sounds like you should join me. My name is Heidi. I have a love/hate relationship with running. I am slow. In fact I have been known to run as fast as some people walk. But I know there is power in creating a fun community for runners of all ages and skill levels.
This will be a 2 miles walk/run in the desert. Please park at the elementary school, Desert Vista and then join me at the trail that follows the power lines on Broadway up to E. Superstition Blvd and loop back.
Please note this first run will probably result in you having fun. Sorry in advance.
Important note: This is a trail walk/run in the desert. Therefore you want to be at least stable enough to run on uneven surfaces. Bring water, good shoes, the whole fam including your doggies and a good attitude because truly all skill levels are welcome!
I hope to see you there. There will be more, because again it's a love/hate thing and I suck more at quitting then I suck at running. That's why I keep showing up. :)
