Come join us at Grace Lake Ministries Therapeutic Riding Center. We are opening this beautiful, historic, 230 acre working ranch in NE Collin County to a limited number of riders to come enjoy its beauty as we raise funds to empower our riders with special challenges to reach their full potential.
Riders will have access to 4 DYNAMIC STATIONS for 2 hours (from 1-3pm) in our beautiful meadow with huge pecan trees amongst several ponds and through our hardwood forest.
• The Trotting Track is approximately a quarter mile long through flat and gently rolling terrain for a ground covering trot.
• The Obstacle Station offers a variety of obstacles varying from easy to challenging. Some are natural as well as our ingenious designs.
• The Game Station will give you the opportunity to expose your horse to some of the games we play on horseback in our therapeutic riding lessons such as basketball, tic tac toe, and even a competitive playday game. How will your horses do, as compared to our therapy horses!?!?
• The Canter Uphill is a medium grade hill where you can exercise your horse cantering uphill.
Next, riders will enjoy an hour-long relaxing, GUIDED TRAIL RIDE (approximately 3-4pm). We will take you to parts of this beautiful, historic ranch that the public doesn’t get to see. This is one of the last remaining ranches in Collin County and is covered in gorgeous hardwood groves with meandering trails, huge pecan trees, and a long half mile dam overlooking a breathtaking 30-acre lake.
