๐ฒโจ Ready for an adventure?! Join us on ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ต as we venture back to Silver Falls State Park! Enjoy a narrated history tour and hike the breathtaking Trail of Ten Falls. Donโt miss this chance to experience ten stunning waterfalls in one day!The group will meet at Happy Valley City Hall and head to Silver Falls State Park located near Silverton, around 20 miles southeast of Salem. From here, hikers will set out on the over 7 mile loop along the Trail of Ten Falls, guiding them above, behind and around ten stunning waterfalls! This loop hike was built to deliver plenty of excitement along the way, guiding hikers behind four of the waterfalls as they pour over basalt cliffs. Hikers who don't want to travel as far will have the option to explore the Winter Falls Loop (5 miles), or Maple Ridge Loop (2.6 miles). The North Rim Trail opened in July 2023. The one-mile trail is highly accessible with a width of 6 or more feet of compacted surface. The trail includes a viewpoint of the North Falls. Visitors can access the trail from the new North Canyon Trailhead and day-use area and the North Falls Trailhead and parking area.
Hikers will also have an opportunity to check out a variety of informational exhibits and historical displays alongside the South Falls Lodge which features a cafeteria and seating in a unique, rustic space. The spectacular South Falls is the tallest waterfall in the park at 177 feet. Participants will return back to City Hall to finish the day.
