“trail of light” features premieres of two works: “I Am Not Yours” by Gerda Blok-Wilson, which won our last composition competition, and “The Poplar and the Moon” by Jeff Enns, commissioned in memory of a long-time Chronos supporter.
Inspired by the night sky, and reflecting themes of love and memory, longing and and loss, the program also features music of Frank Ticheli, Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo, and Canadians Peter Togni and (Chronos's own) Stuart Beatch.
