Camp Decorah is the origin of the Bluffland Traverse, a point to point route running from the northern end of La Crosse County to the southern end following the Mississippi River and the Bluffs that overlook it. Learn more about the Bluffland Traverse here.
This race offers trail runs & mountain bike racing through a property with a northwoods feel located amongst the bluffs & rivers of the Driftless.
The race course loops through beautiful Camp Decorah, offering a blend of single track & double track trails and a trail run that meanders through majestic white pines. Expect gentle elevation changes as you wind through iconic summer camp sights.
Our spacious property will offer music, picnic tables, food options, port-a-potties, air-conditioned buildings, and on-site first aid. We invite you to relax and enjoy the property before and after your race.

Race Times:
7:00 AM: 5-Mile & 10-Mile Trail Run Begins
9:30 AM: 5-Mile & 10-Mile Mountain Bike Race Begins
10:00 AM: 15-Mile & 20-Mile Mountain Bike Race Begins
Family Fun Fest & Kids Activities:
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM:
Kids activities including a bouldering wall, shooting sports, outdoor skills, nature scavenger hunt, and more. Activities are suitable for ages 5 – 12.
10:30 AM:
Kids Race featuring a ¼-mile run and bike race (must bring a bike & helmet). Free Kid Races is targeted at 12 & Under, although they are allowed to register and pay for an official race.
** If Kids Zone check in is conflicting with your race time please let us know we will make accommodations.
Race Options & Pricing
You may choose to participate in one race, or both biking & running. Please select all races you plan to do.
All racers will receive a racing bib, Trail Mix performance t-shirt, finishers medal, and after race refreshments.
Top male and female finishers will receive unique awards!

Tent Camping: $15/night
2-Person Camper Cabins: $20/night
4-Person Camper Cabins: $25/night
