Lace up your boots and join us for Trail Crew Treks—a new free program designed for those who love hitting the trail and want to explore Chicopee Woods in a whole new way.Each month, participants will be led by Elachee’s Volunteer Trail Crew, the dedicated team that maintains our 12+ miles of trails, and/or by our Natural Resources Director. You’ll discover the ins and outs of Chicopee Woods, from its diverse ecosystems to the behind-the-scenes work it takes to keep the trails thriving.

👥Meet fellow trail enthusiasts who share a love of hiking and the woods
🛠️ Get an insider’s perspective on trail maintenance and natural resource management
📅 When: 2nd Saturday of the month (October–December & March–May)
🕒 Time: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
📍 Where: A new trail with varying mileage will be chosen for each hike; all hikes will begin at the gravel trailhead parking lot.
