Join a special workshop with the Southern Elders Weaving Group to learn about the traditional practice of weaving.

Southern Elders Weaving Group will lead participants in a hands on cultural experience, focusing on traditional practices. This experience allows participants to immerse in culture and learn about the traditional practice of basket weaving from Aboriginal Elders, who have been weaving for decades.

Learn how woven objects have been traditionally used, which materials are best for different purposes, and how the practice has been continued today. Elders will guide participants in their workshop, which will be tailored to suit ages and abilities of the group.

Ticket includes tea/coffee and a light morning tea from the The Foodprint Experience.

This workshop is suitable to all ages. Children must have a registered ticket and be accompanied by an adult.

Due to COVID restrictions the following will apply:
-all attendees must book
-adults must wear a face mask where
physical distancing is not possible
-attendees must check in on arrival
social distancing of 1.5m
-please do not attend if you are unwell
-BYO drink bottle and supplies
