Violinist Katherine Liccardo (Winner of the Metropolitan Youth Concerto Competition, who made her Carnegie Hall solo debut at age 18) and Bates' collaborative pianist Chiharu Naruse will present a violin-piano duo concert. They will perform Ravel's violin sonata no.2, which incorporates jazz elements, "Fratres" by leading Estonian classical contemporary composer Arvo Pärt, the traditional Beethoven violin sonata no.7, and more. These musical performers will be joined by dancers from the Bates Dance Department coreographed by !
