Traditional Paths and Ways with Harold Joe

This is the third year for this popular event, presented by Cowichan Tribes member Harold Joe. Harold is a well-know and respected documentary film producer, actor, archaelogical advisor, and grave digger. Harold will walk you through the history of the Quw'utsun people, while sharing with you the often-misunderstood ways of the Cowichan people, and their practices.

The presentation will take place at the Ye'yumnuts ancient site, located in the S'amunu/Somenos Conservation Area. Dress for the weather, and bring water. It can be a chilly spot on a fall day.
