Traditional Moccasin or Mitt Workshop2 Day workshop:

We are so excited to host Tina Armstrong, here at West Bay Cottages, for this beginner traditional Moccasin or Mitt making workshop!
This workshop is held over 2 days, where you will learn how to make these beautiful Moccasins or Mitts using classic hand sewing techniques, embellished with traditional beadwork. Absolutely no sewing experience is required for this workshop- if you can thread a needle you can make these moccasins! The leather used for this workshop is split moose hide, and there will be a variety basic colours to choose from, including; traditional gold, browns and black. The interior will be lined with traditional a Sherpa.
Snacks will be provided, please bring your own lunch or visit one of our local restaurants nearby (i.e. Lavigne Tavern). Coffee, tea and water will be always available in each cottage!
Depending on interest may package with a catered lunch.
Setup will be 3 cottages with 4 particpants each. Each cottage will be either MITT or MOCC.
Please register ASAP to confirm your spot and to ensure everything can proceed. Min 8 participants for event to occur and Max 12 for optimal enjoyment of participants.
