Discover the art of traditional Hungarian egg painting at the Budapest Select – A VVoven View exhibition, in celebration of the upcoming Easter!Beatrix Gombosi Jókainé, artisan egg decorator, will guide the guests through the ancient technique of egg-writing, using beeswax to create intricate, colorful designs on Easter eggs. Beatrix has been perfecting this craft since her youth, and her expertise has earned her numerous awards, including the Applied Folk Artist and Young Master of Folk Art honors. In recent years, she has been invited as a master to multiple folklore festivals in Japan, Azerbaijan, and Poland, where she has shared her knowledge and passion for Hungarian traditions.
