Stephanie fan leads the day-long woodworking workshop, where students will build their own woodworking mallet to take home. This is a great start for your journey into traditional woodworking. Wooden mallets are great for driving chisels.
Minimum age: 16 (adult must be present for minors). Feel free to reach out to Stephanie to see if your kid will be a good fit.
This is a pay what you can event, with limited seats - there WILL be waitlists. With the tools included, this would normally be a $150+ workshop, but we encourage you to give what you are able to (even if that's $0). Our grant with Berea College allows us to do what we can to make these events as accessible as possible.
Our event system does not allow for sliding scale pricing - please pay through our Paypal account (credit cards accepted) or through cash at the door.
We WILL be reaching out as the event approaches to make sure you can still attend, if you've signed up.
