Join us for our traditional autumn walk in Blean Wood, where we can admire the magnificent fly agarics and other stunning autumnal toadstools, marvels of the fungal world. Dogs on leads are welcome. This family-friendly, 10-12 km walk is easy and mostly on flat terrain, making it perfect for everyone. It’s helpful to bring binoculars and field guides. Remember to pack a drink and a couple of sandwiches, as there are no refreshment facilities in the woods.
No special equipment is needed but the paths can be soggy and there is always a slight chance of rain, so waterproof walking boots/wellies and a raincoat may come handy.
There are 20 places available on a first come first serve basis. There is no charge for this event but please contact Robert Goldmann via email [email protected]
