This workshop is intended to provide women a high-level introduction and overview of this sector. We will breakdown how this industry is structured, current growth trends, career paths/directions and as well as highlight the skills/attributes it takes to be successful in this space. We are going to get real about the risks, realities, and the rewards that a career within the skilled trades can offer and debunk common myths/misperceptions that many people hold. If after this session, you feel more interested in learning more, we will share support and resources offered by Women Building Futures and a path forward.
