Oren and Krystin Bailey are a married musical duo (also known as Twobloom) local to Raleigh NC. They met five years ago at a concert and have been singing with and loving one another ever since. Krystin and Oren were both raised with a love for music groups like The Carpenters, Fleetwood Mac, and The Bee Gees. This classic rock and indie influence can be heard in the music they create and play with one another. They perform live music frequently around the triangle, and provide music education at Wake County Schools with their acapella group Transit Vocal Band. Krystin is a local musician and actress in Raleigh. Along with live music, she’s been active in the theatre community here for five years. You may have seen her in her local performances performances as Delilah (Between the Lines), Hope Caldwell (Urinetown), Katherine (Henry V), Niece (A Christmas Carol), Vicky (Noises Off!) and more. Krystin has been singing and playing guitar since kindergarten, and has always found solace in stage performance and song writing.
Oren caught the music bug before he could speak, and has been making music professionally for nearly a decade. When not making music with Krystin, you can hear him playing guitar, bass, and occasionally mandolin with groups around the Triangle and beyond. You may have also seen him locally as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in “The Rocky Horror Show” or going full Method by portraying Krystin’s husband, the Nephew, in “A Christmas Carol”.
