About this Event
The TQ Collective is comprised of 6 up and coming jazz musicians from across the Bay Area. Their sound greatly varies playing anything from funk, neo soul, or hip hop to straight ahead jazz and focuses on bringing a modern, fun feel to a greatly historic art form.
Throughout their studies, the band met through their shared love of jazz and the intimate connection that only music can bring. Each musician brings their own voice through their instrument, culminating into a force greater than the individual.
Members have performed at a wide variety of venues and prestigious music festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vienne, SFJAZZ, Yoshi's Oakland, Freight & Salvage, Brick and Mortar, Mr. Tipples, and countless more.
Tickets are $20 general admission. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.
Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.
The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The venue is ADA accessible. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-381-1997.
