This new tour will focus on the industrial and commercial heritage of the River Tone in Taunton. Our 1.5-2km route will provide a glimpse into a now forgotten world when the River Tone was the centre of a thriving import/export trade that contributed so much to the town’s prosperity.
The tour will start at the Museum of Somerset, and have a walking duration of approximately 2 hours.
