Introduction to mountain biking for aspiring young athletes 10-15 years of age. Girls & Boys are welcome to participate. Prior experience riding a bicycle required to participate. Mountain bikes with at least 7 gears and 26" wheels with knobby tires at least 1.8" wide are required. 24" diameter wheels are acceptable for smaller riders under 4'10". Bikes must be in good working order with functioning front and rear brakes, and properly functioning derailleurs / shifters to participate. Please arrive 20 minutes earlier so we can promptly begin at 11AM. Eye protection / safety glasses and helmets approved for bicycles are also required. This is a Town of Liberty Parks & Recreation sponsored opportunity hosted by Catskill Claws Inc. Participation is limited to the first 12 Girls and Boys registered for the event.
