WEST ELGIN RESIDENTS In response to all the great community discussion and feedback regarding council’s decision
to sell the Port Glasgow Trailer Park (PGTP), we the residents of West Elgin are inviting you to
a TOWN MEETING on:
MONDAY MARCH 10th, 7PM
INTERNATIONAL CLUB
11588 Kerr Rd, West Lorne
West Elgin Council promised a town hall meeting and transparent report on their decision to
sell PGTP months ago, and these have failed to materialize.
We the residents of West Elgin have grown tired and frustrated with our current council –
their lack of transparency, broken promises and unwillingness to listen to the constituents
they represent.
Let’s get together on March 10th, 2025 at 7:00pm at the International Club and ask some big
questions:
1. What about the economic impact on local businesses?
2. Why not be transparent?
3. Why not listen to the citizens of West Elgin?
4. Why sell now?
We the residents of West Elgin, year-round and seasonal, are all in this together. Until we
have our meeting on March 10th, let’s respectfully call our MP, MPP, Mayor and Councillors
and let them know how disappointed we are in the lack of transparency and the way things
are being handled.
