A Special Election is set for Nov. 18 pertaining to a proposed ordinance change which would increase the City's Hotel/Motel tax. This increase is not related to any tax paid by current residents. By ordinance, Midwest City residents are already exempt from paying hotel/motel taxes when staying overnight within city limits. Please join us for this Town Hall Meeting on Nov. 6 to learn more, ask questions, and provide input. The meeting will take place in the Midwest City Council Chamber, and we hope to see you there.
