A new state law prohibits camping or sleeping on public property. We invite you to a community town hall to discuss what this means for the City of Fort Lauderdale and our residents. City staff will provide an overview of HB 1365, which went into effect October 1, 2024, how to report violations, and steps the City is taking to comply with the law while showing care and compassion for all members of our community.
