About the walk

This walk starts and finishes near Reading Station but takes a meandering route linking the town to the River Thames. On the way we’ll discover some fascinating trees parks and hidden spaces.

About the walk leader

The walk is led by Adrian Lawson.

"I have been involved with Reading’s trees and parks in one way or another for almost 40 years and have written about them extensively. I enjoy sharing what I’ve learnt with others."

Getting there

Meet point: Vastern Road roundabout https://what3words.com/libraries.ridge.assets

We start 100 metres from the railway station and bus interchange on the Caversham/river side of the station, at the exit from the station multi storey car park. On corner of Bagnell Way and Vastern Road roundabout.
