Known as the City of Dreaming Spires, this pretty paddle will take you along the River Cherwell which snakes its way around some of the most beautiful and noteworthy architecture in Oxford. For centuries, scholars, artists, writers, scientists and film-makers have found inspiration in Oxford's spectacular architecture.Our experienced guide will lead you past stunning, Gothic and Baroque architecture which dates back over 1000 years, including Magdalen College, one of the most prominent colleges in the world. Snap a picture of world famous Oxford punters as you share the waterways, cruising past Magdalen College deer park, the botanical gardens and Christchurch meadows. We'll stop at a riverside pub for well earned refreshments before heading home full hearted.
Please note this adventure takes in one significant portage where you will need to carry board and kit for up to 20 minutes, with breaks, as we leave the river and head to the canal for our return journey.
