TOWER OF FLINTS return to VALHALLA with their unique brand of indie-rock/post-punk.
Combining soaring guitars, raucous feedback, dark poignant lyrics and a tight, bass-driven rhythm section, TOWER OF FLINTS are guaranteed to please rock-music-listeners of all ages and styles.
If you didn't catch TOWER OF FLINTS the last time they hit Valhalla, don't miss out again!
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
TOWER OF FLINTS
Tower Of Flints began as the working title for a solo project of Joseph E Harrison (formerly lead singer of Brave New Void), a Wellington-based musician and songwriter. In early 2018, he was joined by Neil Beales (guitar), and more recently, Corey Wilkinson (drums) and Jared King (bass).
Described by some as indie rock and others as post-punk, Tower Of Flints have a distinctive sound that is all their own - guaranteed to please the ears of anyone into well-crafted rock/pop songs with dark, ambiguous lyrics and loud, jangly guitars.
TOWER OF FLINTS will be performing brand new material by the band, along with songs by guitarist Neal Beales and tracks from frontman Joseph E Harrison’s solo album, Therapy For A Cynic, described by reviewer Jel Legg for Muzic.Net.NZ as: "Quite simply, a brilliant album.”
A new album – TOWER OF FLINTS – LIVE AT PAISLEY STAGE - was released in February 2024 and is available on all platforms.

THE DEAD ZEPHYRS
The Dead Zephyrs are among the legions of Kiwi bands on a mission to revive Rock n Roll once again. Their journey kicked off almost a decade ago cutting their teeth during Mastertons’ notorious King Street Live era and honing their craft covering the greats in the many pubs and bars of New Zealand, the middle of nowhere, center of everywhere.
Now they stand as hometown heroes having claimed the prestigious title of Battle of the Bands National Champions for 2023. They are the first Wairarapa band in history to do so despite the
incredible talent that has come out of the region. Their influences include Kiwi legends The D4, historic heavyweights Led Zeppelin, and the incomparable QOTSA. The Dead Zephyrs offer a new approach to Alt-Rock with elements of psychedelia and blues while still capturing the essence of Rock n Roll from years gone by.
Make sure you catch The Dead Zephyrs whenever you can, they never fail to put on one hell of
a performance wherever they play.
