About this Event

Dear Partner,

There is an even greater need to connect this winter to support residents facing increasing challenges.

Our local CVS organisations and Tower Hamlets Together partners, are working to reduce social isolation, through longstanding work, with support of Tower Hamlets Loneliness Taskforce Grants and other resources.

Tower Hamlets Connection Network is supporting local organisations to work together to share ideas, information and access to resources to deliver a stronger local response to loneliness and isolation, affecting our most marginalised residents.

Please join us at our next Connection Network Event in person on Monday 12th December, from 9.30 to 1.00 at Spotlight Youth Centre (30 Hay Currie Street, London, E14 6GN).

The Focus will be Connecting agencies to share information about Cost-of-Living services & support to reduce isolation.

The aims of the event are to:

  • Understand how the cost-of-living crisis is impacting your work to address loneliness
  • Share information about support for residents this winter and identify opportunities to collaborate
  • Build connections across Tower Hamlets
  • Identify gaps in support and discuss solutions

Come along to: Contribute to discussions with commissioners, reflect on your successes and challenges and explore how we can work together to raise awareness and access to services, to reduce the impact of austerity and loneliness.
