Towards a Daring Future - ANCHOR Canada's 20 year Anniversary Gala!
Please join us as we celebrate our 20-year Anniversary on July 20, 2024. The event will take place at the 1263 Wilson Ave. Toronto, Ontario in the Grand Ballroom. Join us as we reflect on the past two decades and look ahead to an exciting and daring future. It's a night you won't want to miss!
We are looking forward to seeing friends, supporters and stakeholders who have been ardent supporters of ANCHOR (formerly Vaughan African Canadian Association). We have advocated together, created incredible programs together, marched together, and changed policies together; all to benefit the African/Caribbean/Black community in York Region and across the Country.
We plan a Gala every 5 years. Our last Gala marked our 15-year anniversary and it was a beautiful evening filled with delicious meals, a cultural fashion show, Ballroom dancing, singing and we topped off the evening with a Live DJ lighting the dancefloor with oldies but goodies, reggae, Afrobeats, World music, and dance music. The celebration continued into the night. It was awesome.
