Finally! A get-together between kindred spirits that has been a long time coming ❤
Veduta and Toverberg are joining forces for a wonderful evening of concerts on the 24th of May at MERCERIE as part of the “Nomadic Bloemenhof / Jardin aux Fleurs” program.
We’re celebrating the release of Félicette’s first EP, which will be released on the 20th of May on Toverberg, White Garden and Mostly Interrupted. Félicette is a guitar-based project by Sam (bontridders, Brorlab), in which they combine soft, fuzzy songs with a broad panel of influences, ranging from Grouper and h hunt to Victoria Shen and teen suicide. The first single for this project will be released on the 3rd of May.
Also playing is Soccer Committee, a guitar-and-voice project from the Netherlands. They will re-create their soft-spoken and intimate sound for us.
After the double-bill some deejays will show us what a good Friday night looks like: Streep b2b Lou K and BBY Boete b2b Poppy Whispers.
There will also be works by Gaia Lufrano on display.
Entrance = pay what you can!

Toverberg is a label and event organiser from Brussels. Everybody is invited on the Toverberg, to join us in an open and warm celebration of beginning artists and their good music.
Nomadic is a biannual social art project which brings together artists, musicians, and cultural organisations with residents, merchants, social initiatives, and institutions around a specific neighbourhood. Nomadic starts from what is already present in a given neighbourhood. Artists are invited to work around the notions of public & private space, creating a site-specific exhibition throughout the neighbourhood’s streets, squares, facades, and inside its bars and shops.
