Welcome Aboard!
Climb aboard the Peppermint Bay II at Brooke Street Pier and set sail along Sullivan’s Cove, taking in Hobart’s historic docks, wharves, and piers. From there, we’ll head north on the River Derwent, past the bustling Macquarie Wharves, under the Tasman Bridge, and on to the Selfs Point Fuel Terminal before returning to the pier.
But this isn’t just any river cruise – it’s a journey into the heart of Tasmania’s working waterfront! With our guest host sharing stories and insights along the way, you’ll discover how a modern port runs, how we keep maritime operations safe, and how we’re planning for the future.
Keep your eyes peeled – you might even spot our hardworking tugboats Yandeyarra and Mount Florence, or our pilot boats Kelly and Paringa, in action!
