On Saturday, November 23, 2024 OMS members will gather at Mini of Portland to head out on another excellent jaunt over hill and through dale, finishing in Astoria. The actual round trip driving part is about a tank of fuel for a classic Mini - a hundred miles give or take.
The route will take you up along Hwy 26, up into the mountains, through Veronia, to the little burg of Mist, with a stop at the Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area, and on out to the coast and Astoria. There'll be time for museum touring and to having lunch at Broadside Brewing.
We will be using Rallista for the route directions.
For those that would like to spend the night, OMS have a "Hold" on 5 King Room at the Astoria Hampton Inn, ask for the Oregon Mini Society rate.
There's also going a group dinner for those who spend the night.
