About This Event
Tours of the Archives Vault gives guests the chance to see the vast repository of collections and how they are being preserved for the future. This vault tour will be focused on the life of Peter Oliver and his descendents. Guests will get to view items held in the collection including the Lease for the Oliver Farm, Bills of Sale for Peter Oliver, his memoir, his financial records, and documents related to his family. Tickets for the tour are available for free with any donation--proceeds will go towards the Peter Oliver Pavillion and Gallery project.
The Tour takes about an hour and does require some walking, but chairs are available in the Vault and in the Reading Room where items will be showcased.
