Ever wanted to see an Atomic Clock, a million pound force machine, or contemplate in front of an apple tree that is a descendant of Sir Isaac Newton’s apple trees? Then join us for a fun behind-the-scenes tour of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a scientific agency within the US Department of Commerce.The tour begins promptly at 9 a.m., so please leave plenty of time to park, pass through visitor’s center, and meet in Administrative Building (101) lobby. Please bring a government-issued identification (e.g., driver's license, passport, etc.) with you.
The tour will involve walking on the NIST campus between buildings. Please plan for walking and we request you dress professionally.
Note that NIST requires for all attendees, including any guests, and this information will need to be provided when you register:

Citizenship status: U.S. citizen, permanent resident or foreign national (the latter requires extra security steps and information to gather)
