The Garden Capital of Texas will showcase some of its most beautifully landscaped gardens during the Tour of Home Gardens, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 21 and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 22. The Tour of Home Gardens is a fundraiser supporting beautification projects throughout Nacogdoches. These efforts include planting more than 2,000 trees within public city spaces, allowing Nacogdoches to be designated as Tree City USA. This year the Garden Capital of Texas will also support the Nacogdoches Blooms project at Banita Creek Park.
Tickets are $25 each and are available at: Charles Bright Visitor Center, Hotel Fredonia, Pemberley's, The Plant Shed, Charles Pool Real Estate, East Texas Garden Center and Laine's Hallmark, as well as online.
