Hidden behind the trees of Cannon Hill Park the house is an unexpected surprise.
About this Event

Cannon Hill House lies just outside the boundary of Cannon Hill Park. It is hidden from view behind shrubbery and mature trees and is now the home of NICE - Centre for Movement Disorders. The house lies on the hillside and once overlooked the fields along the river Rea before the area became Cannon Hill Park. It dates from the 1820s but replaces an earlier house on this site.

Join a guided tour to learn about the history and inhabitants of this early 19th century house and explore, from cellar to loft, its many original architectural features.

The tour will start outside, please dress for the weather.

Limited on-site parking is available. Additional parking is in Cannon Hill Park carpark off Russell Road (paid parking).

We regret that the tour of the house includes many stairs and small spaces and is not accessible to wheelchair users.
