We will hop on a motorcoach and head out to explore our home county! Learn about the history and architecture of Mosinee, Stratford, Athens, Edgar and Brokaw.
Tickets are available (cash or check only) at Janke Book Store located in downtown Wausau. You will receive a sheet with more details/reminders, as well.
The cost will be $47 per person and will include the guided tour and a snack bag.
Hear about the hustle of early Athens and its sawmills, factories and flour mill. Learn about the legends of DuBay and Dessert in Mosinee. How a creek named Scotch gave a railroad man the idea to start a village. And more!
We will board the motorcoach at the Fulton Street entrance of the Woodson History Center. Please arrive by 11:45 am as the tour will leave at noon.
The day will include stops at each destination and a short tour. Please be prepared to exit and board the motorcoach several times. Wear comfortable shoes and expect stairs and uneven surfaces.
